Hi, I’m Naomi, the Cake Artist behind Frawla Bakery.

My love for baking began in childhood, mixing batter with my mum and binge-watching Food Network. Over the years, it became my creative outlet, but for a while, I lost touch with it. A short pastry course reignited my passion and led to my first bakery job, where I went from squeezing oranges to crafting French pastries. From hotel kitchens in Malta to a top-rated café in Australia, each experience shaped my skills and deepened my love for nostalgic, comforting bakes. I’ve also had the opportunity to attend a baking retreat in France hosted by Alisha Henderson and Jana Lai, both of Dessert Masters AU, whose artistry continues to inspire me. Now, back in Malta, I’m bringing that passion to life through Frawla Bakery—where every bake is a blend of nostalgia, warmth, and a little something unexpected.
